Dental Crowns

To repair damaged or decayed teeth that are beyond the point where a more conservative filling will adequately restore the smile, dental crowns are likely your best option. A dental crown can be crafted from a number of materials including porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, and gold. These advanced restorations fit completely over the top of a damaged tooth to restore the lost structure and protect the remaining healthy tooth. Dental crowns are traditionally placed over the course of two treatment visits. During the initial appointment, we prepare the damaged tooth, capture impressions for the dental lab, and place a temporary. When we receive the final crown from the lab, you’ll return for the second, shorter appointment. We simply need to remove the temporary and place your final custom dental crown.
